Kappota
Though few know the difference between this and the bekishe, kappotas are not shiny and are usually worn by Lubabs and Litvishe rosh yeshivahs. Another important difference is that the kappota has a long slit going up the center of its back, which the bekishe does not have. The slit on the kappota is generally thought to be the Lubavitch man's way of trying to keep up with the long slits usually found in his wife's skirts.
